Bureau of Indian Standards , Ghaziabad organises a Consumer Awareness Workshop with Salaam Namaste Community Radio

 Bureau of Indian Standards, Ghaziabad (Under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs,Govt of  India) organised a Consumer Awareness Workshop in JM Park Sapphire RWA, Ramprastha Greens, Vaishali.

The program was opened with welcome of Ayush Raj and Priyanshu Kumar Jee,Standard Promotion Consultant from BIS, Ghaziabad,followed with welcome of Mr.Jain,RWA President and Shailey Agarwal, from Udtey Pankh NGO.

The welcome was felicitated by Poonam Narain, a renowned Artist.

Residents of the RWA showed active interest in Participating in the awareness Session where Priyanshu Jee shared information about different Standards like ISI, Hall Mark,Eco Mark Etc.All the participants participated with active interest and enthusiasm.Ayush Raj jee shared about the recent activities and initiatives by BIS,Gzb like Awareness Workshops conducted in RWA's,BIS Clubs,Seizing of I'll practices,Laboratory Visits etc.and also shared the first edition of Manak Pravahika,a monthly magazine of BIS Gzb.

Music Day was celebrated on the same day with music renderings on Swach Bharat and an informative Rap Song on Jagi Grahak Jago 

Apne Manak Ko Pehchano!

A Manak Natika was presented by Sharda and Laxmi sharing the value of Hall Mark whenever we buy Gold or Jewellery Items.

Mukesh,A student of Udtey Pankh NGO and Gaurika Wadhawan were felicitated as Manak Yuwa for his successful Board Exams, Sukhwinder Kaur,Shailey Agarwal and Poonam Narain,Vandana Bhatnagar were felicitated as Manak Mahila.

Students participated in Manak Art depicting different Standard Marks,three best Manak Art were felicitated.

The program ended with due thanks to the organising Committee of the RWA and a group pic.

The program was conducted and well organised by Salaam Namaste Community Radio as the Outreach Partner.
